“We’re very happy with Andy’s window service. He’s really savvy. We have a ton of windows at our home in Montclair, and he figured out a time of day to clean them when the light is just right. We’ve been impressed with how conscientious he is.”
“Andy is so trustworthy. I found Lightstream in The Good Service Guide about 3 years ago. They did a complete window and gutter cleaning, and actually told me that the gutters weren’t that dirty, so they took over $100 off. They are so honest.”
“I’d give Andy my highest recommendation. He has cleaned the windows in our home for about five years. We have floor-to-ceiling windows, with many small, individual panes that are difficult to clean. He also cleans our gutters. He’s thorough, and always pleasant.”

Here’s a reliable window cleaner you can feel good about hiring to work both outside and inside your home. Andrew Brown, of LightStream Window Cleaning, has been making windows sparkle for the past eight years. We’ve seen him working in and around Oakland and Berkeley, and he’s recommended by many local realtors.
As well as making windows crystal clean, Andrew (or Andy as he’s often called) cleans chandeliers, skylights, gutters, and other hard-to-reach places. He can remove water spots or mineral stains from glass, and he also offers pressure-washing of exterior concrete and brick surfaces.
Andy became a window cleaner to supplement his income as a high school teacher in Albany (as he says, that means he has passed at least one FBI check!). He quickly found he had a talent for business and satisfying customers. Pretty soon he was able make enough money to support his wife and two young children.
“I’m very sensitive to my clients’ needs,” Andy explains. “Some people want to talk, in which case I’m glad to chat. Others just want the job done quickly, quietly, and professionally. Either way, I make sure they’re a happy customer.”
Andy always removes his shoes before entering his clients’ homes. He wears a uniform, and his truck clearly identifies him and what he is doing. Most of his new business comes from neighbors who have observed him at work. “Those people don’t need references,” he explains, “but I have a long list of satisfied customers if anybody wants to check me out further.”
Andy also gives free estimates. He says that it’s almost impossible to accurately price a job based on a phone description. A relatively small home may have a large number of difficult to clean windows, while some larger homes have windows that are easier to clean.
“I like working for people who want reliable, professional service from someone they like and can trust.”
