“I had to relinquish my aspiration to be an artist,” says builder Simon Spark, explaining how he came to home remodeling in San Francisco, after graduating from London’s Slade School of Fine Art and the Art Institute of Chicago. But Simon’s aesthetic training and eye for detail have provided him a unique perspective.
