  • “She has worked for us for 3 years, maybe more. She’s fixed practically everything. She is honest, and takes real pride in her work. I really trust her. She’s got the zen of plumbing down, is very caring, and has always helped me when I’ve had a plumbing emergency.”

  • “They were probably the best workers I’ve ever had. Put it this way: we didn’t even know the workers were around while the project was going on. We had our back and front yards done, and everything went just like it was supposed to. Vic’s become like a friend to us.”

  • “I’ve been extremely pleased with them. He’s very conscientious and reliable. He rebuilt our redwood deck, and also laid a driveway for us. He doesn’t do the job and then disappear. I hope The Good Service Guide doesn’t make him too busy to do my work!”

If you’re dreaming about a new back yard, deck or patio, Vasilije “Vic” Cvijanovic can make those dreams come true. The owner of Pacific Landscaping, the company he started in 1986, Vick transforms ordinary yards by creating lush gardens, cozy gazebos, vine-draped trellises, and other amenities that are beautiful, easy to maintain, and built to last.

Whether you already know exactly what you want or have only a vague idea, Vic will make sure you’re delighted.

“I encourage the homeowner to become involved in the project, because that’s how I get the best results,” says Vick. “I ask them questions, find out what their tastes are. And when I finish their project, people usually tell me that it looks much, much better than they ever expected.”

Vic and his crew are skilled at a wide variety of residential projects, including decks, patios, gardens, benches, gazebos, barbecues, and trellises. Beautiful stonework is one of their specialties – distinctive retaining walls, meandering paths, driveways, formal patios, steps, and other types of masonry.

“While it would be much easier to subcontract the stonework and brickwork to someone else,” Vic explains, “But we get better results when I do it myself.”

Vic is also expert at building French drains. “Many people in the East Bay don’t realize that, due to the nature of the soil, they have water collecting under their house,” he explains. “The French drain system is the best solution to the serious problem of water undermining a foundation.”

Vic works on only one project at a time so he can give it his full attention. He has one crew. “I get so many compliments about how professional my workers are, and how comfortable it is to have them around the house.”

It’s obvious that Vic loves his job. “I enjoy working with people, and I like to create things,” he says. “I appreciate it when people trust me to do work for them. I’ll do everything I can to make them satisfied.”
